Sega Genesis Classics Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Get set for a blast from the past, 90s gamers: Sega today appear plans to bring more than 50 of its classic games to today's consoles.

The Sega Genesis Classics drove (aka Sega Mega Drive Classics in the Britain) includes Sonic the Hedgehog, Contradistinct Creature, Streets of Rage, and a lot more than (see the complete list below). It's slated to launch on PlayStation four and Xbox One on May 29. An "updated version of the PC release" is also expected, but sadly, Nintendo Switch will be left out of the party for now.

"The collection has … retro classics to feel across every genre; arcade action, shooters, beat'em ups, puzzlers, old favorites and subconscious gems, with a raft of modern features," Sega wrote in the video's description. "These include online multiplayer, achievements, mirror modes, rewind and save states, meaning players old and new should find revisiting these smashing games an absolute Sonic 3D Blast."

Sega said it will be selling concrete versions of this collection.
